Bundesliga and Ligue 1 Parlay Weekend: bet on Eintracht

Bundesliga and Ligue 1 Weekend Parlay at (+214)

We have two tasty ingredients for another winning bet: a Bundesliga dish between the mighty Greuther Furth and Eintracht Frankfurt a Ligue 1 croque-monsieur between Nice and Montpellier.

Greuther Furth v Eintracht Frankfurt (Bundesliga Round 11) Sunday, November 7, 1:30 p.m. ET

Mighty Greuther Furth sits last in the German top-level league table, and from the start of the season we took a stand against them. Nine defeats in 10 games with 27 goals conceded in the process, that says a lot about the “good” team of this team. Cut them down already. Better not to do that because we need it for the whole season. Every Bundesliga team has fun with them.

After each round we have big titles: Bochum hits late to beat Greuther Furth, Dominik Szoboszlai inspires Leipzig’s victory against Furth, the last, Nicolas Höfler seals Freiburg’s victory against Furth… The mighty Greuther Furth is on fire. Sometimes we feel sorry for them, but we’re here to take it, so let’s do it.

The start of the Eintracht season is bad. They lost their striker André Silva who moved to RB Leipzig, bringing Rafael Borre from River Plate on a free transfer. Oliver Glasner is their new head coach, succeeding Adi Hütter, who left for Gladbach. Glasner suffers from Hütter’s legacy, playing on the wings and coming with crosses into the box.

Since 2018, Eintracht have delivered the most Bundesliga crosses with a total of 1,428 with Filip Kostić the player in charge. Under Glasner, the visitors no longer have the striker from the penalty area using the wings, so they have to adapt. It takes time and their performance is poor, but they will surely bounce back and move up the leaderboard. After all, they have a decent squad that should be in the top half of the table.

Tactically, the team looks better, but the results are lacking. It is therefore the perfect opportunity for Eintracht to add three points to its total for the season. We know they are playing on the road, but we feel like the bookies are underestimating Frankfurt for this clash so we accept the giveaway. It’s now or never for the visitors who, surprisingly, are doing a great job in the Europa League, being 1st in their group and having a great chance of making the round of 16.

One player to watch is Eintracht forward Sam Lammers, on loan from Atalanta. He’s an interesting player, but he needs to play more to show his skills. So check the lineups, and in case he starts the game, sprinkle him with a small bet to be “the scorer at all times.”

1st Parlay Pick: Eintracht Frankfurt ML (-105)

Nice vs Montpellier (Ligue 1 Day 13) – Sunday – November 7 – 11:00 am ET

The gap between Paris Saint-Germain and the rest of the teams is huge in Ligue 1, so the question is who is the best of the rest. Defending champions, Lille is nowhere to be found, having a very bad season, Monaco struggles in the middle of the table, Lyon is 6th, Marseille 3rd, but we have Nice 2nd. Admittedly, the difference between them and their followers is not great, but all the same, Nice is one of the favorites to finish in the top 4.

Why? Mainly because they hired Christophe Galtier as manager. The Ligue 1 title-winning coach joined Nice this summer, signing a 3-year contract with the club. Let us not forget that it was he who made Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Arsenal one of the top scorers in Europe. His main objective is to transform Nice into a powerhouse of French football, and he has all the weapons to make good contenders for the title. Maybe not this season because he needs more quality in his squad, but in 2-3 years, if he stays, we will see them hunt PSG.

On the other hand, Montpellier has always been difficult to face. It seems unlikely that they will win two games in a row, but they score and it’s a pleasure to watch them. We’re talking about two entertaining teams, so we’re going with the “overs” for our 2nd pick of this parlay.
